Last summer I decided to get my plant based nutrition certificate from e-Cornell – I was already well into my plant based life by then but felt the sudden urge to understand the scientific evidence and the facts behind the benefits of eating vegan. Through the classes that I took in the context of this certificate, I became aware of all these facts and really understood what an impact plant based nutrition can have on one’s health; not only does it protect against our modern civilization diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes type 2, heart disease and others but it can also reverse many of these diseases.
Jenné and I talked a lot about these things last summer and we realized that we wanted to empower people to make this change towards eating plant based and investing into their most valuable asset, namely their health. That’s how Buddhalicious was born – an easy online meal program that supports anyone who wants to eat more plants and be healthier. We combine meal plans, recipes, health and wellness tips with videos and regular check-in emails to really support our followers all the way through. It’s not about being perfect but it’s about learning how easy and inexpensive plant based eating is and how much it supports our health, while being delicious and creative.
We also believe that anyone can accomplish this journey with our program because it offers enough diversity to not get bored and enough tools to follow through. We want to create a real community of people, that can share their experience, advice, thoughts and feelings during this journey. Our 30 day challenge is a true stepping stone towards this transformation as we need about 4 weeks to change habits, for good.
So go head and sign up for our program – $1/day towards the most balances, healthy and happy Buddhalicous YOU!
